Cream of Mushroom Soup




Cream of mushroom is a very tasty starter for a dinner.Also it can be used as a complete meal for those who are concern about the weight.This soup is very easy to prepare and it is very creamy.It is often used as the base for casseroles.

Mushroom contains lot of  fiber and proteins. It also rich in Vitamin B and antioxidants which helps to boost the immunity. Lets make this delicious soup


Ingredients :

Button Mushroom 250 g
Fresh Milk 1 cup
Fresh Cream 1/2 cup
Butter  30 g
Chopped garlic 2 tbsp
Chopped onion 1
Water 2 cups
Corn Flour 2 Tbsp
Chopped parsley


Method :

Wash the button mushrooms and cut into pieces. Heat a pan and add butter. keep at the low flame. Add chopped onion and garlic. Let it fry for few minutes. Then add button mushrooms and fry for  2-3 minutes. After it cooked add corn flour, salt and pepper. Cook until the corn flour absorb into mushroom. Add water and fresh milk. Mix it well and cook for  5-10 minutes until it become thick. After it cooked add fresh cream and cook for few minutes. Let it cool for some time and blend it to make it thicker.Garnish with some Parsley leaves and serve it in hot with some croutons or bread rolls.
