Kurakkan Thalapa




Kurakkan Thalapa is a traditional breakfast in Sri Lanka which is easy to prepare.It needs very few ingredients

Kurrakan also known as Ragi is a type of millet which is  gluten free and diabetic friendly. Kurakkan is rich with fiber and vitamins.It also helps to reduce diabetic and cholesterol . Also  it support for the weight loss. 


Ingredients :

Water  2 cups
Salt 1/2 tsp
Kurakkan Flour 2 cups


Method:

In a pan boil the water and add some salt into that.Add flour gradually and stir well. Stir these mixture become a creamy dough.Once its cooked take out from the pan and put into a plate.Make balls  or cubes from that dough .Serve it in hot with dhal curry or fish curry.
