Green Rice






This is a special rice which prepared using green leaves.This is a healthy rice which can have for lunch.



Ingredients :

Basmathi Rice 500 g
Chopped Onions   150 g
Chopped Carrots   150 g
Chopped Cabbage  150 g
Mustard seeds 1 Tsp
Egg 2 
Sugar 2 TBsp
Chopped Green leaves(Mukunuwenna) 200 g 
Salt and Pepper
Margarine or oil


Method :

Put margarine into a pan and heat it.Add mustard seeds,Onion ,Egg and chopped vegetables .Add salt and pepper then add rice and mix it well.Finally add the green leaves and sugar .Mix it well and serve
