Butter Cake





This is a very simple butter cake  which is easy to prepare for the tea time.It can be used to make any design.

Ingredients :

Wheat flour  - 250g
Eggs            - 4
Baking powder - 2 Tsp
Salt - 1/4 Tsp
White Sugar - 250g
Butter - 250g
Vanilla - 2 Tsp
Fresh milk - 3/4 cup


Method :

Pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 180C degrees.Beat the eggs separately. Take  a bowl and add powdered sugar, butter and beat well until it become a fluffy white cream.Add beaten eggs and vanilla to the cream mixture.

Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together. Add the  sifted dry ingredients to the mixture alternatively with the milk.Fold the mixture until it combined well.

Greece the tray and put a oil paper to the bottom of the tray.Pour the mixture to the tray and spread it evenly.Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes at 180C temperature. Once it is baked decorate with some icing sugar on  top of the cake.
