Doughnuts



Making doughnuts is a bit of a task but if you have the perfect recipe it is very simple.Having a crispy, soft, fluffy doughnut is a good option for the evening tea.Who can resist  a delicious doughnut like that?Lets see how we can make it.

Ingredients:

For the dough

Wheat Flour - 1Kg
Instant yeast - 20g
Butter or Margarine - 100g
Warm fresh milk - 350ml
Sugar - 100g
Salt - 15g
Eggs - 2

For the chocolate garnach

Cooking Chocolate - 50g
Chocolate powder - 2 Tbsp
Vanilla - 1/2 Tsp
Fresh Milk - 2Tbsp
Icing sugar - 100g


Method :

Mix the yeast with sugar and little bit of water and keep for 10 minutes until it blooms.Mix the salt with flour and add warm milk gradually.Mix the dough thoroughly. Once the yeast is bloomed add the mixture to the dough.Add butter and eggs as well.Kneed the dough for few 20 minutes until it become a soft dough.Put the  dough into a bowl and cover the bowl with a wet towel. Keep it for 1 hour until the size become double.

Once the dough has risen place it on a floured flat surface and kneed it lightly.Roll out the dough using a rolling pin to about 1cm thickness.Then cut the round shapes using a doughnut cutter. If you don't have a cutter use a cookie cutter ,about 3cm diameter and use a small cutter to cut holes.

Then place the doughnuts on a tray and bake for 30 minutes at 200C temperature or deep fry  one by one until it become golden brown.Let it cool for some time

Until it become cool you can prepare the chocolate garnach.

Grate the cooking chocolate and melt it using the double boil method. Mix the icing sugar,cocoa powder,Vanila and melted chocolate until it become a slightly runny consistency.Then dip the doughnut in the chocolate glaze until the top of the doughnut  fully covered .Add some sprinkles to decorate and serve.
